Testimonials

"Inner City Outreach holds a very special place in my heart. It is an organization that truly stands by its values and beliefs in how it aims at transforming inner city communities. With a diverse, close-knit team that is committed to their work, ICO effectively reaches the communities it serves. It is grassroots, yet operates with the same world-class standards of any international NGO. My experience at ICO did not only shape my career path, but it also molded me into the person I am today.”
- Luzayo N., Strategic Communications Officer, Save the Children

"Volunteering at Inner City Outreach has been an amazing and unforgettable experience for me. Whether it was working with students one on one or in small groups, I was able to get to know each and every one of them. It was such a great accomplishment to help students that were struggling with their homework. During my experience I was able to build strong bonds with the students and best of all, meet new people."
- Francesca L, Former volunteer

"Thank you for continually supporting the students of the Africentric school. From the tutoring of the students with homework, your basketball and other mentoring programs to your services on excursions, you have definitely demonstrated your dedication to helping our children in their educational and social development. When we see others who put in the time and passion seasoned with patience to assist our children, there is a reassurance that they have the opportunities to thrive. It is important for them to see what good leadership looks like so that they can reciprocate this as they gain the confidence to pursue their goals in life. I want to thank you for all that you do and continue to do in the community."
